It's 'Lights!! Camera!! LAUGHTER!!' as MAD magazine goes to the movies!!

MAD magazine frequently repackaged its material in a long series of "Super Special" format magazines, beginning in 1958. These reprint issues were sometimes augmented by exclusive features such as posters, stickers and, on a few occasions, recordings on flexi-disc, or comic book-formatted inserts reprinting material from the 1952–55 era.

Early '80s cinema humor is expertly delivered here in the Spring of 1984 by the 'USUAL GANG OF IDIOTS' --- Jack Davis, Sergio Aragones, Mort Drucker, Don Martin, Dave Berg, and Paul Coker Jr., with a sprinkling of other 'mad' cartoonists, all dismantling previous parodies of movies like Superman, The Godfather, The Sting, The Towering Inferno, and The China Syndrome.

(There is something about the lesser-quality paper that MAD used that makes its pages difficult to scan without making them look like ancient parchment! The actual pages look much better than these sepia-toned scans!)

This copy is in excellent shape, with a solid and still-square binding, and no tears, or creases and a back cover that isn't "folded-in" - a nice and tight specimen of a 37 year-old magazine that was probably read under the covers with a flashlight!
