KO Komics (1945 Gerona) #1 FN-, Duke of Darkness, the Menace, the Magnificent Epod, Very hard to find. Professionally graded. Pages are off-white with a very light tanning at the edges, supple and in excellent condition, center page firmly attached. Light spine wear, tiny ding at top of spine, small chip at bottom of spine, name written in “O” of title, tiny tears/bends along top edge, creases at bottom right corner, back cover has very small tears/bends along top edge, light creases at bottom left corner. This was sold to me with the following notation: “Conservation: Archival tear seals”; I do not see evidence of tape, and as far as I can tell, this means that some type of glue was very carefully applied at two spots on the inside of the cover, at the staple and at the bottom of the spine, but you have to look for it&mdashit does not stand out. Overall, a great copy of a very hard-to-find comic.
