With its fascinating history, ever-changing roster, and great writing, JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA has been a jewel in DC's crown ever since its first appearance in BRAVE AND THE BOLD #28 in 1960.  It was wildly popular right off the bat, and got its own title shortly after that initial appearance, dreamt up and scripted by DC great Gardner Fox.

Here, 8 years later, you get "T. O. Morrow Kills the Justice League -- Today!", again written by JLA creator Fox, wherein the time- and dimension-traveling villain concocts a plan to wipe out both the JUSTICE SOCIETY if AMERICA (the 1940s group from which the JLA arose, created for a new generation of superhero fans) and the JLA.  MORROW crafts 'Kiss of Death' duplicates of the love interests of AQUAMAN, WONDER WOMAN, FLASH, SNAPPER CARR, ATOM and HAWKMAN.  He also materializes genetically-engineered monsters to kill the other 4 JLA members, and succeeds in his diabolical plans, putting their bodies on display in their own Trophy Room!

But RED TORNADO revives himself from his defeat in the previous issue by MORROW, and manages almost single-handedly to resuscitate and save both the JSA and JLA and defeat T.O.MORROW!

A complex story told clearly by the masterful Fox, and neatly illustrated by Dick Dillin, with the gorgeous inking of Sid Greene!
