This book has deep rich color and very nice eye- appeal on this hard to get in high-grade black 3rd JLA, first Kanjar-Ro cover! With standard cream pages and white inside covers. The book is well attached at the spine and the centerfold. With a small split at the top of the spine and a whisper of a bend-line along the spine-side of the front cover. With overall very light wear appropriate to grade. There is a very small tear at the thumb-area outer-edge of the front cover that we almost missed. We have adjusted the grade accordingly. Ths book comes with a certificate of authenticity from our brand-new, one-owner, high-grade "Utah" collection!

I can't help but note how high you graded this book. I don't see how you came to this grade when there's a spine roll at the top determined by the misalignment of the pages, a very noticeable tear at the bottom staple & what appears to be a complete tear at the top staple indicating it's either detached or a hairs' breath away from being detached!

Your looking at the wrong picture, terrible sorry... I went to the one you saw and yes it is fine/very fine at best, probably FN+ but it's not a picture of the book ... please go back to the book as correct pic is in there.. doh! I have no idea other than I had an earlier one and my guess is Hipcomic put up the wrong picture some how doh!

Yes, the lower-outer corner-bend was not mentioned doh! I guess, if hip does not take it off.. it's now in their hands as I have reported it, I will give the top buyer a chance at a decent discount and lower grade for sure.. thanks so much for the head's up.. sigh

I still see the same 2 scans. I don't see how you can be relying on Hipcomic to post the scans of your books. I assume it shouldn't be no different than with eBay when adding scans to your listings. As is, you're still overgrading the book represented by those scans on your listing. I was just noting what I see, but it's not because I'm interested. But I'd think the winner of that book may be seriously disappointed if the scans you have are of the actual book you have listed...........SWR

Thanks again my friend... I am always interested in your input. Once Hip takes over the listings to do there 1.00 auctions, we are locked out sigh.. I did write to them but they responded near closing time.. if buyer complains of course I will take the book back as I would prefer to re-list at FN/VF .... I put my 2 most expensive books up as loss leaders and of course I took a lose doh!

Additionally, the information you offered up on this book combined with the front cover scan alone brings down the grade by several points. My initial comments are for the back cover view alone. Overall, when you add all the spine stress & tear at the bottom of the spine & top of the spine on the front cover, I'd rate this book no higher than VG if I were being generous, but it still should grade no higher than Good+! I see additional damage on the right edge of the front cover & an additional color breaking crease on the bottom corner.
