Here's an obscure title from the immediate post-war years around the time that ARCHIE was ruling the teen humor titles . . but this one has the interesting distinction of being written and illustrated by none other than Al Feldstein (under the pen name Bill Brown), who would go on to make a real name for himself as one of EC's top horror artists and later, Editor of MAD MAGAZINE!!

Here in JUNIOR COMICS issue #11 from the Winter of '47-'48 you get 5 full stories, from 2 to 9 pages each, by Feldstein, chronicling the misadventures of trouble-prone teen JUNIOR as he deals with his girlfriend DEENA, and their fellow students, like GOOFY and GWENNY.

(Squint your eyes and you can practically replace each of these characters in your mind with ARCHIE, VERONICA, JUGHEAD and BETTY!)

This is a really nice and solid copy of this 74-year-old comic, with a nice strong binding, minimal toning, strong colors, and no tears, creases or pieces missing. We'll conservatively grade this an 8.0 VF . . in which condition Overstreet gives this title a value of $1133.00!! We'll shave $300 off that and put a much more reasonable price tag of $833 on it . . . and throw in FREE shipping!
