Inside the cover by Jack Kirby, the 13-page lead story, "Giants Walk The Earth!", Odin makes a rare appearance on Earth to settle the matter of THOR's love for Jane Foster. At the same time, LOKI frees Skagg, the Storm Giant and SURTUR, the demonic fire god, so that he never has to relinquish his power over Asgard. THOR, Balder and Odin defeat the giants and LOKI is punished.

Jack Kirby also illustrates the TALES OF ASGARD back-up feature, wherein ODIN descides to appoint a sentry and guardian of the Rainbow Bridge and auditions Agnar, Gotron and Heimdall for the job -- guess who gets it! It's all revealed in the tale, "HEIMDALL, Guardian of the Mystic Rainbow Bridge!

You also get a one-page text story, and a 5-page alien-invasion story from Stan's brother Larry Lieber!

This copy is in pretty good shape for being 57 years old. There is typical toning , a date stamp on the cover, and a bit of handwriting at the top of the title page. About what you'd expect of a comic that has been read and enjoyed since the 1960s! All these factors contribute to a conservative grading of 4.0 ( you may judge it higher), for which Overstreet suggests a price of $48.00.
