Inside the cover by Jack Kirby, the 13-page lead story, "The Master Plan of Mr. Hyde!", Mister Hyde kidnaps Don Blake and Jane Foster and then tries to steal a submarine using Jane as a hostage. Jane stops Thor from catching Hyde because she thinks that Don is still in danger. The police realize that Hyde framed Thor for the bank robbery, but Jane's actions convince Odin that she is unworthy of immortality.

Jack Kirby illustrates TALES OF ASGARD, wherein Thor and Loki (as children) defeat three Storm Giants and return the Golden Apples of Iduna, in the tale, "The Storm Giants!".

This copy holds together well, but cover- and page-edges are a bit ragged, there is typical toning for a 56-year old comic. About what you'd expect of a comic that has been read and enjoyed since the 1960s! All these factors contribute to a conservative grading of 4.0 ( you may judge it higher), for which Overstreet suggests a price of $72.00.
