Good - A copy in this grade has all pages and covers, although there may be small pieces missing inside; the largest piece allowed from front or back cover is a 1/2 inch triangle or a square 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch. Books in this grade, are commonly creased, scuffed, abraded and soiled, but completely readable. Often paper quality is low but not brittle. Cover reflectivity is low and in some cases completely absent. Most collectors consider this the lowest collectible grade because comic books in lesser condition are usually incomplete and/or brittle. This grade can have a moderate accumulation of defects but still maintains its basic structural integrity.

"A Contest of Champions" Star-studded wraparound cover! The great face-off between the mightiest super-teams of two universes continues! Writer Kurt Busiek and George Perez drawn on just about every character who has ever been either an Avenger or a member of the Justice League of America as the cosmic contest continues. In rain-soaked Metropolis, the opening battle is joined and the heroes test each other's mettle. Captain America and Batman, easily the most highly trained physical fighters of their respective Earths, face off and spar but quickly realize they are too evenly matched for either one to emerge the victor. Instead, they use their brains to reason that something lies behind this super-powered scavenger hunt and agree to discover the truth together. Their comrades, however, continue the mad hunt across two worlds for objects of power.

Using a dimension-hopping motorcycle built by Mr. Fantastic, Cap and the Bat find the Grandmaster's lair and with the help of the Atom, discover the deal he made with Krona. The wager over which team could secure the most objects of cosmic power from each world will determine if the Marvel Universe is to survive. Meanwhile, the Scarlet Witch has found that in the DC Universe, her power over Chaos Magic has grown exponentially and this, and Metron's gift of a Mother Box to Iron Man, gives their time the power they need to battle the JLA. There's so much here it's impossible to capture it all in words but here's a sample: Galactus beset by Krona. Darkseid with the Infinity Gauntlet. Superman vs. Wonder Man. Wonder Woman vs. Hercules. Green Arrow vs. Hawkeye. And that's just the tip of the iceberg!
