The much-admired artist ALEX TOTH did his first comic book work for DC in 1947 - the same year he graduated from High School! In 1966 he created 'SPACE GHOST' for Hanna-Barbera . . . but in between those two dates he did many adventurous and beautifully-drawn comics for DC -- and this issue of HOUSE OF SECRETS has a great chunk of his talent on display!

Toth's powerful art tells the 12-page story of "The Man Who Destroyed Eclipso" Toth had been illustrating the tale of Eclipso, "Half Hero, Half Villain" for nearly a year, and this story importantly reveals how girlfriend Mona Bennett came to know that Bruce Gordon was secretly Eclipso! Written by Bob Haney.

"The Sinister Skull of Doctor-7" is the lead story and finds House of Secret's main character, sleuth of the supernatural Mark Merlin, going up against evil prison escapee Doctor-7! Story by Arnold Drake, Art by Mort Meskin.

This 56-year old comic is in good shape, with a solid binding and bright-colored pages with normal toning. No apparent blemishes lead us to grade it a 4.5 VG+. . and we think you'll agree! And don't listen to Overstreet's assessment of $15 -- we say $8 and that's final! (well, except to mention our L•O•W shipping and handling!)
