HA HA COMICS is considered by many Funny Animal comic collectors to be the 'Cadillac' of the genre (at least among the titles published by the ACG/Nedor/Pines/Standard consortium). Some of the best moonlighting animators of the '40s and '50s spent their evenings at home contributing stories to this title! Animators Ed Dunn, Al Hubbard, Ken Hultgren, Dan Gordon and Bob Wickersham, alone, are represented in this issue!

Among the ongoing characters running in HA HA in the Summer of 1949 were Izzy and Dizzy, Hopalong Hoppity, Robespierre, Daniel Spaniel, and Fenwell Fox! Six fun stories, in all, are here in this issue's 52 pages, plus 4 illustrated text pages!  Bob Wickersham delivers another goofy Daniel Spaniel story, and Al Hubbard lends his considerable artistry to Fenwell Fox, all inside the cover by animator Dan Gordon!

A variety of some of the best Funny Animal cartoonists of the early '50s . . and a cornucopia of laughs!

This copy has 52 supple pages, with no tears, creases or pieces missing - a remarkable state for a 73-year-old comic! There's minimal toning on the interior, but some light tonight evident on the back cover. We'll call it a 7.5 VF-.  Overstreet says $56 for this issue in this condition --- but we think we can part with it for just $28!
