HA HA COMICS is considered by many Funny Animal comic collectors to be the 'Cadillac' of the genre (at least among the titles published by the ACG/Nedor/Pines/Standard consortium). Some of the best moonlighting animators of the '40s and '50s spent their evenings at home contributing stories to this title! Animators Ken Hultgren, Jack Bradbury, and Bob Wickersham alone, are represented in this issue!

Among the ongoing characters running in HA HA in the Winter of 1949 were Izzy and Dizzy, Hopalong Hoppity, Robespierre, the Hepcats, and Doc E.Z. Duzit! Seven fun stories, in all, are here in this issue's 52 pages, plus 4 illustrated text pages!

You get a variety of some of the best Funny Animal cartoonists of the late '40s . . and a cornucopia of laughs!

This copy has 52 supple pages, with no creases or pieces missing, just a few minor splits and stress lines near the spine, and a 2 1/2" horizontal tear on the back cover - a  pretty remarkable state for a 75-year-old comic!  We'll call it a 5.0 VG/FN .  Overstreet says $25 for this issue in this condition --- but we think we can part with it for just $15!
