HA HA COMICS is considered by many Funny Animal comic collectors to be the 'Cadillac' of the genre (at least among the titles published by the ACG/Nedor/Pines/Standard consortium). Some of the best moonlighting animators of the '40s and '50s spent their evenings at home contributing stories to this title! Animators Allan Hubbard, Dan Gordon, Bob Wickersham and Gil Turner were frequent contributors, and this issue alone features the art of Ken Hultgren and the amazing Jack Bradbury!

Among the ongoing characters running in HA HA COMICS in the late Fall of 1948 were Izzy and Dizzy, Robespierre the Cat, Doc E.Z. Duzit and Shilly & Shally! These two issues give you 13 different stories, plus five illustrated text pages. If you're not familiar with the energetic and appealing art of Jack Bradbury, these two issues are a great way to get introduced!

These comics are both 52 supple pages of chuckles and laughs, and are in great shape for being 73 years old!! #61 has a chip out of the front cover, and a small, faint date stamp on the back cover. Overstreet says $40 for these two issues, combined, in 4.0 VG condition --- but we think we can part with them for just $23!
