HA HA COMICS is considered by many Funny Animal comic collectors to be the 'Cadillac' of the genre (at least among the titles published by the ACG/Nedor/Pines/Standard consortium). Some of the best moonlighting animators of the '40s and '50s spent their evenings at home contributing stories to this title! Animators Ken Hultgren, Al Hubbard, Dan Gordon, and Lynn Karp, alone, are represented in this issue!

Among the ongoing characters running in HA HA in the Fall of 1948 were Izzy and Dizzy, Daniel Spaniel, and Teepee Tim! 7 stories in all are here in this issue's 52 pages, plus three illustrated text pages. Al Hubbard does another beautiful job on Teepee Tim and The Impulsive Imps.

You get a variety of some of the best Funny Animal cartoonists of the '40s . . and a cornucopia of laughs!

This copy has obviously been much-read and -enjoyed over its 76 years, but has 52 supple pages, a few small page edge tears, stress lines, the cover is beginning to separate near the staples, and there is some raggedness along the spine, . . but no creases or pieces missing - a pretty good state for a comic this old! Overstreet says $20 for this issue in 4.0 VG condition --- but we think we can part with it for $10!
