HA HA COMICS is considered by many Funny Animal comic collectors to be the 'Cadillac' of the genre (at least among the titles published by the ACG/Nedor/Pines/Standard consortium).  Some of the best moonlighting animators of the '40s and '50s spent their evenings at home contributing stories to this title!  Animators Ken Hultgren, Dan Gordon, Al Hubbard and Ed Dunn, alone, are represented in this issue!

Among the ongoing characters running in Ha Ha in the Spring of 1946 were Izzy and Dizzy, Robespierre the Cat, and Maxwell Mouse!  8 stories in all are here, plus three illustrated text pages. Among the better artists in this issue are Disney stalwart Al Hubbard on 'A Bear Living', Ed Dunn on 'Chubby' (in which Dunn draws himself at his drawing board!), and Ken Hultgren on the Cover, 'Robespierre' and 'Izzy and Dizzy'.

This copy has 52 supple pages, a strong binding, a s1/4" tear on the back cover, some ragged edges and a bent corner or two . . but nothing that detracts from the active antics inside!   Overstreet says $30 for this issue in 5.0 VG/FN condition --- but we think we can part with it for $20!
