HA HA COMICS is considered by many Funny Animal comic collectors to be the 'Cadillac' of the genre (at least among the titles published by the ACG/Nedor/Pines/Standard consortium). Some of the best moonlighting animators of the '40s and '50s spent their evenings at home contributing stories to this title! Animators Ken Hultgren, Dan Gordon, Gil Turner, Bob Wickersham, and Hubie Karp, alone, are represented in this issue!

Among the ongoing characters appearing in HA HA in the Summer of 1944 were Robespierre the Cat, Hoppy Hare, Izzy and Dizzy, Fenwell Fox, and Old Tabby! 7 stories in all, plus 3 illustrated text pages.

This is a very well-preserved copy - the binding is strong, there are no tears, no chips, no foxing, and the pages are supple (not brittle) with bright color. We're calling it a 5.0 VG/FN.
