GL #43 offers up "The Catastrophic Crimes of Major Disaster!", wherein a new villain creates disasters to commit his crimes, and Hal and good friend Barry Allen (the FLASH) are having a hard time stopping him! This is MAJOR DISASTER debut and origin!

#44 gives you TWO stories - "Evil Star's Death Duel Summons!" being the cover story, in which EVIL STAR - an alien evil scientist who has captured the power of the stars in his weapon, the Star Band, and who made his debut 7 months earlier in GL#37 - escapes from the Guardians and challenges GREEN LANTERN to a duel on OA. The second story, "Saga of the Millionaire Schemer!", finds Hal's Uncle Titus trying to prove that Hal's brother Jim Jordan is actually GREEN LANTERN!

These are two really good-looking Silver Age GREEN LANTERNs -- no creases, tears, pieces missing, or abnormal toning. Their bindings are strong, the colors are bright - they're downright lovely! #44 has some nicks, creases and stress lines on the cover.
