Here's another entry in the huge category of 'Weird 1940s Funny Animal Comics'.  There were a plethora of these at the dawn of humor comics (Ha Ha, Giggle, Happy, Barnyard, etc.) and it's fairly obvious they were all trying out the slapstickiest talking animal stories they could come up with, in the hopes that one or more would become popular enough to sustain their own title.

Sadly, none of the characters in this issue ever went on to lasting fame!

You do get Uncle Pigly, Goofy Gander, Oscar the Ape, Wilbur Fox and Mary Lamb, among others from East Coast cartoonist and Terrytoons animator Kin Platt (who also did the cover), with Disney animator Lynn Karp drawing 6 stories himself!

The cover and binding are tight on this 52-page comic, with typical 71-year old toning and a small 3/4" tear on the back cover.  We call it a 6.0 FN - you might call it something even better!  Overstreet thinks you would pay $42 for this grade . . . we think you'd rather pay our $20 plus L• O •W $2 shipping!  Just call us GOOFY!
