Grading and Standards
Raw comics are direct from the official distributors. Once received by us from the distributor, all comics are immediately placed in acid-free polyethelene bags and backboards. Mylar (mylites) and fully buffered backboards (full backs) are available as an optional upgrade.

Graded comics are direct from CGC/Dynamite Forces and come in a protective plastic bag. They may contain 'newton rings' which is a common effect caused by contact between plastic surfaces, giving off an 'oil spill' effect in certain light

New comics are sometimes prone to 'industry accepted faults' such as minor misprints, spine creasing, frayed corners, ink smudges/dusting (particularly visible with white covers), etc. It is due to this that we are unable to replace items that fall below the customer's expectation of a certain grading beyond advertised. We recommend visiting us in person if you are looking for comics in a particular grade.

Damages and Returns
If an item was received damaged or in a condition that far extends the 'industry accepted faults', we request that they contact us immediately providing a photo to highlight the issue(s). We will endeavour to replace/refund the item once the item has been returned to us.

In non-damage cases, returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery as long as they are returned unused/unread, in their original packaging and in a resellable condition. Buyers are requested to use the original packing material and include a note of their Hipcomic username so we can identify the order.
