FUNNY FILMS, from the Sangor Shop and ACG Comics, ran for 29 issues from the late '40s to the mid-'50s and showcased the zany cartooning and storytelling talents of animation notables Dan Gordon and Bob Wickersham, as well as Ken Hultgren. Continuing characters included PUSS an' BOOTS, Owl detective WHOO DOODIT, amateur cowboy ALKALI IKE, and goofy inventor BLUNDERBUNNY!

They're all here in this 52-page funfest that sets up each story as if it were an actual film being watched in a theater!

This copy is in decent shape for its 72 years, with supple pages, good color, and minimal toning. Unfortunately there is a 3" tear low on the back cover, and that's all that prevents this copy from rating a 6.0 FN! Overstreet says $28 for this issue in 5.0 VG/FN --- but we think we can part with it for $10 - making this far-and-away the most affordable FUNNY FILMS issue here on HipComic! (Those other sellers' prices are OUTRAGEOUS!!)
