FRINGE was a FOX-TV series that premiered in 2008 and followed FBI Agent Olivia Dunham, brilliant scientist Walter Bishop and his estranged son Peter as they investigated the world of 'fringe science' (telepathy, time travel, etc.) following suspicions that the large scientific research company, Massive Dynamic, was experimenting on the general public.

In 2010, DC Comics (under its WILDSTORM imprint) brought the characters and spirit of the fantasy/sci-fi/horror series to the comics, with a variety of writers and artists supplying multiple stories per issue. The TV series lasted until 2013 . . DC's comics version lasted 6 issues.
