The Fox and the Crow were brilliantly handled by cartoonist Jim Davis from the late 1940s in 'Real Screen Comics' until he left this title in 1965! 27 years masterminding the schemes of wiley Crawford Crow against the unsuspecting and high-strung Fauntleroy Fox!

This issue, inside its terrific sight gag cover, contains 3 Fox and Crow stories, a 'Hound and the Hare' story (also by Davis), 2 text pages, 3 pages of unmarked activities, plus half a dozen house ads and cartoon advertisements(including one starring Al Capp's 'FEARLESS FOSDICK!)! And chuckles too many to count!

This copy is tight and well-cared-for without any creases or tears = But a strange 'puncture wound' that enters from the back cover and creates a hole in the last 2 pages and dents most of the interior pages (see scan of back cover). This reduces the condition from a solid 5.0 condition down to a 3.0 GD/VG -- to your price advantage! Even in this condition it lists for $30 in Overstreet. We think $15 is more like it, coupled with our L•O•W $2 shipping fee!
