Jim Davis - the talent behind The Fox and the Crow comics - being uncommonly adept at depicting the conflicts between talking animals, created the Canary - Cat - Dog trio of combatants "Flippity and Flop" in 1950. Flippity is the clever canary, Flop is the conniving cat, and Sam is the dim-witted dog, who missed out on star-billing in the title!

Issue #2, from February of 1952, is a perfect example of these three in their never-ending skirmishes. Jim Davis illustrates 3 Flippity and Flop stories, plus a tale of the two goofy mice, 'Twiddle and Twaddle'.

You also get 4 clean activity pages and a text story.

This 71-year-old DC comic is in 5.5 VG/FN condition - the binding is tight and flat. There is a 1/2" tear at the top of the back cover, and wear along the spine, but otherwise, no defects or flaws! Normal toning but no foxing.
