In "Side By Side With Sub-Mariner!" the Fantastic Four heeds the pleadings of SUB-MARINER's love, LADY DORMA, and travel in their submarine under the sea to Atlantis, to attempt aiding PRINCE NAMOR in his battle with the invading warlord ATTUMA (in his first Marvel appearance!).

With the benefit of. REED RICHARDS' "OXY-SPRAY" they are able to breath underwater and manage to turn the tide of the battle without SUB-MARINER ever learning they are helping him.

Powerful and dynamic illustrations (and a great photo-montage cover) by Jack Kirby and Chic Stone!!

This is a well-read copy of FANTASTIC FOUR #33, with a worn but strong binding, stress lines, a few ragged edges, moderate spine roll, and a bit of handwriting at the top of the title page . .  but all pages are supple and bright, and minimal toning for its 60 years, with no foxing!   

One page is loose. And the 1-page "Mighty Marvel Pin-Up" by Kirby of NAMOR has been removed.

We're grading it a 3 GD/VG , which Overstreet values at $81 . . . but we're pricing it at just $55 to give you the best value for this issue in this condition on HipComic!
