"Death of a Hero!", runs the gamut from REED RICHARDS trying to change the THING back to his human form (but is ultimately unsuccessful), to a beam from outer space resurrecting a being who takes over the form of SUE and JOHNNY STORM's father in prison (and then escapes!), to REED tracking down the escapee, hitting this INVINCIBLE MAN with a ray that reveals it is actually the SUPER SKRULL in disguise, and is banished back to his home world!

Powerful and dynamic illustrations (and a great cover) by Jack Kirby and Chic Stone!!

This is a well-read copy of FANTASTIC FOUR #31, with stress lines, foldovers, ragged edges, a date stamp on the cover and a bit of handwriting at the top of the title page . .  but it has a strong binding, all pages are supple and bright, and minimal toning for its 60 years, with no foxing!   We're conservatively grading it a 3.0 GD/VG, which Overstreet values at $35 . . . but we're pricing it at just $25 to give you the best value for this issue in this condition on HipComic!
