From 1964 - Stan Lee and Jack Kirby delivered the first appearance of the ancient alchemist DIABLO, in the story "The Dreaded Diablo!"

The story starts off with the FF getting lost while hiking the forests of Transylvania! The Thing inexplicably heeds a call from a dark castle, and winds up meeting the sinister Diablo, who attempts to change the Thing back into his human form of Ben Grimm! It is almost successful . . until the remaining 3 Fantastics barge in to rescue Thing against his wishes! Two giant battles ensue . . including the final one where an aware Thing destroys Diablo's castle!

Definitely having seen better days, this copy of Fantastic Four #30, does have a strong binding, but many pages have ragged edges (although no tears or missing pieces) and normal toning after 56 years! There is a small bit of writing at the top of the splash page, but no faults affect the Kirby artwork. Overstreet says you can have it for $32 . . but WE say you can have it for $15, plus our incredibly L•O•W shipping costs . . that include FREE shipping for additional purchases!

Less than a third the price of the other FF #30s offered here on HipComic!! WORLD"S GREATEST BARGAIN, indeed!
