It's 'THE WORLD'S GREATEST COMIC MAGAZINE'!!! - - and this issue is one of the Greatest - #23 from 1964 - Stan Lee and Jack Kirby deliver a great story containing Dinosaurs, Robots, The Yancy Street Gang . . and DR. DOOM!

In "The Master Plan of Doctor Doom", Reed Richards has to chase a dinosaur that has come through Doctor Doom's Time Platform. When the creature is captured and returned to his proper time, Reed scolds his teammates for not following his orders. The anger and resentment last throughout this issue!

Meanwhile three criminal thugs are bailed out of jail by what turns out to be a robot controlled by DR. DOOM!

Even after giving the jailbird trio enhanced powers, defeating the FANTASTIC FOUR, imprisoning them within his Time Platform and utilizing a cosmic event to banish the FF4 into space, it is DOOM himself who winds up being marooned somewhere out in the Galaxy!

This is a pretty rough copy of Fantastic Four #23 , with a bevy of faults and blemishes, including pages that have ragged edges, a cover that is largely separated, a back cover tear repaired with tape, creases, stress lines and a bit of handwriting at the top of the splash page. There is normal toning for a 57 year old comic, but very little affects the artwork, and lets you enjoy the energy and power of Jack Kirby's artwork!

We conservatively grade this copy a 2.0 GD, which Overstreet values at $36 in this condition . . but WE say you can purchase it for $23, along with our nominal postage costs! It's the most affordable FF #23 here on HipComic!
