Issue #225 presents "The Blind God's Tears!", in which the FANTASTIC FOUR are being held captives in the North Pole enclave created by a 1000-year old Viking, who was struck by ancient alien power-rays ages ago. He grew to 15 feet tall with internal energy vast enough to create a crystal dome for himself and his many followers in the distant Arctic.

But he has now lost his sight and many of his followers have died off, and as he becomes increasingly insane, he threatens to kill the FANTASTIC FOUR unless they help him. ODIN learns of this treachery and sends THOR to assist the FF in resolving the situation.

An imaginative script by Doug Moench and great art by Bill Sienkiewicz with Pablo Marcos
