Here is the second of the three outings a LI'L BAD WOLF title had under the DELL FOUR COLOR banner in the 1950s. Li'l Bad Wolf is the son of Zeke Wolf, the 'Big Bad Wolf' from the famous Disney 'Three Little Pigs' animated short of 1936. Li'l Bad Wolf was never actually animated until the 1990s on a Disney TV series called 'Raw Toonage', but he made his print debut in 'WALT DISNEY'S COMICS AND STORIES' in 1945.

Eight years later, Dell published this full issue devoted to the good-hearted son of Zeke, the Big Bad Wolf, who is a constant disappointment to his 'Pop' because he isn't 'bad' enough! Though he did much work for Dell, HARVEY EISENBERG did very little comic book work with the Disney characters, most often applying his unforgettable artistry to 'TOM AND JERRY', 'SPIKE and TYKE' and other Hanna-Barbera characters, animated characters on which he worked for decades in the animation trade.

Here his remarkable talent is on display in all 36 pages of this comic over 7 different stories. (The cover, though is by Disney artist Gil Turner) Besides the Big Bad Wolf and the Three Little Pigs, other co-stars here include Little Hiawatha, Brer Bear and Brer Rabbit - all done in Eisenberg's unmistakable style!

This is a really nice copy, with a strong binding and minimal toning . . but several tiny stress lines, a knick and dimple here and there, and a 3" tear on an interior page. Actually very nice and solid for a 67-year old comic! The Overstreet Guide gives it a $15 price tag . . . OUR tag reads $8, plus our always L•O•W shipping!
