- This storyline was erased from continuity by the events of "Zero Hour." Years later, the Infinite Crisis restored some elements of Batman history erased in Zero Hour, but this storyline most likely remains apocryphal.

The plan to eliminate The Reaper failed and the Gotham Organized Crime is none too pleased with Joe Chill, who was responsible of carrying out the mission along with Batman.
