Here's a gorgeous copy of DETECTIVE #369 from 1967 - featuring only the fourth appearance of the new BATGIRL!

Inside the cover by Gil Kane and Murphy Anderson, you get the Gardner Fox / Carmine Infantino story with the beautiful inking of Sid Greene, "BATGIRL Breaks Up the Dynamic Duo!". When BATMAN and ROBIN join BATGIRL in rounding up some criminals, BATMAN falls into a swamp and subsequently develops Swamp Fever! While he is in a hospital recovering, BATGIRL asks ROBIN to join her in fighting crime, and BATMAN thinks ROBIN is leaving him to permanently pair up with BATGIRL!

There is also a brief cameo by the Silver Age CATWOMAN, making only her 3rd appearance in a DC comic!

The back-up story, "Legend of the Lovers' Lantern" written by Gardner Fox, and illustrated by Neal Adams, finds the ELONGATED MAN protecting his wife Sue, who worries over her husband's safety as he pursues criminals, and turns to a legendary lantern that is said to bring loved ones home safely!

There's also a great black and white ad inside the back cover for the "Superman/Aquaman Hour of Adventure" on CBS Saturday mornings, as well as for the "BATMAN" prime time series on ABC!

This is a near-pristine 44-year old comic - the binding is strong, the colors are bright, the covers still have their gloss . . just in top-notch condition.
