Issue #2

"For God and Country" Script by Chris Cooper. Pencils by Richard Case. Inks by Mark McKenna. Cover by Richard Case. At the Library of Congress in our nation's capital; Victoria Montesi, Sam Buchanan, and Professor Hastings search for another missing page from the Darkhold. And lo and behold they find it! But hours earlier in the library, the devious Dwarf gave an envelope to a serial arsonist. The deranged arsonist opened the envelope and read the aforementioned missing page! And now he wants to detonate a gamma bomb in Washington D.C.! Can the Darkhold Redeemers locate and defuse the gamma bomb before it's too late? Cameo appearance by Modred the Mystic. 32 pages.

"No Place Like It On Earth" Guest-starring the Scarlet Witch. Script by Chris Cooper. Pencils by Tony Harris. Inks by Jimmy Palmiotti. Cover by Tony Harris and Jimmy Palmiotti. In Washington D.C., the Darkhold Redeemers meet Modred the Mystic! And after the duplicitous Modred tells the trio his origin, he tells them where the next Darkhold page will appear: South Carolina! So Professor Hastings, Sam Buchanan, and Victoria Montesi make tracks for the Palmetto State! Meanwhile at the Avengers' west coast compound, Wanda Maximoff senses a great evil in the air! Are the pages of the Darkhold haunting the Scarlet Witch? Cameo appearances by the Dwarf, Sabretooth, Living Lightning, and the Wasp. The Darkhold Redeemers don't care at the moment! And luckily Sam is able to convince Victor Creed to join them! At a cairn on the outskirts of town; the Redeemers, Sabretooth, and Modred make their final stand against the multitude of demons! They must close the portal to Chthon's realm... or this tiny town will be history! How nice... a midair mini-family reunion! Unfortunately, there is someone else familiar on the flight too: the Dwarf! Oh no, is he giving a passenger a Darkhold page as the plane prepares for descent? Yes he is! And shortly thereafter sheer pandemonium erupts! Sam, Victoria, and Louise battle the demons as best they can! But once the pilots are killed, the trio has a much bigger problem! Is anyone getting off the plane alive? 32 pages

In Los Angeles the Hastings family is in mourning as Louise's daughter did not survive the flight last issue. Victoria Montesi tries her best to console her friend, but she suddenly has a vision about another Darkhold page! However before Victoria and Louise can pack for Boston, they're ambushed by Sam! What's going on? Has Sam suddenly gone over to the dark (holders) side? First appearances of Jinx (aka William Hastings) and Diabolique (aka the witch-child). Cameo appearance by Modred. If your looking for a Great read this Highly under appreciated title is a Must and this 5 issue set will not disappoint. The books are in outstanding condition with Like New Quality and VERY minimal to no wear. Clean tight staples with original cover color and gloss and they all have perfect cover wraps. They interiors are complete with flawless white page quality. I believe all the books are in the 9.0 VFN/NM grade range with most any grading company.
