In 1995 Dark Horse Comics celebrated the 100th issue of DARK HORSE PRESENTS, the anthology series that had served as a tryout platform for some of the companies most popular titles --- it was the first title that Dark Horse published, back in 1986.

That first issue featured the initial appearance of Paul Chadwick's _Concrete_., which became successful which became popular enough to be the regular cover feature for much of the first few years of the title. _Concrete_ eventually spun off into its own title, and this was something which would happen to several characters and stories appearing in _Dark Horse Presents_. These included John Byrne's "Next Men" comic book, as well as Frank Miller's _Sin City_ stories, and licensed comics like _Aliens_ and _Predator_, as well as _Buffy the Vampire Slayer_ .

_Dark Horse Presents_ was Dark Horse's longest running title, and provided a mix of material from established and new creators. The title ended with issue #157 in September 2000.

Here are 3 of the 5 iterations of issue #100. #2 cover features a Berni Wrightson painting of Mike Mignola's HELLBOY, which leads of the issue with "The Chained Coffin". Also present are stories by Eddie Campbell, Paul Pope and others.

#3 cover-features CONCRETE with artwork by Geoff Darrow, as well as the lead story, "The Artistic Impulse" by CONCRETE's creator, Paul Chadwick. There are 5 more stories, including a slice-of-life tale by Harvey Pekar.

And in #5, under the cover by Mike Allred, are a MONKEYMAN and O'BRIEN story, " I Was The Alien!" and 4 others, including a collaboration on "Pan-Fried Girl" by Paul Pope and BONE's Jeff Smith!

These are in great shape, with just a bit of light scuffing along the front cover of #3. Lots of good reading and great art for just $10 and L•O•W shipping!
