CREEPY was an American horror-comics magazine launched by Warren Publishing in 1964. Like MAD, it was a black-and-white newsstand publication in a magazine format and did not carry the seal of the Comics Code Authority. An anthology magazine, it initially was published quarterly but later went bimonthly. Each issue's stories were introduced by the host character, Uncle Creepy. •• As if you didn't know all that!

Here's issue #15 from the early Summer of 1967. Inside the painted cover by Frank Frazetta, is a line-up of some of the fan-favorite EC/DC/Marvel artists of the era: Steve Ditko, Joe Orlando, Jerry Grandanetti, Johnny Craig, Gil Kane, Neal Adams, and more!

Seven outstanding stories fill its 52 pages, with titles like "City of Doom", "Terror beyond Time", and Washington Irving's "The Adventure of the German Student"!

So much entertainment and artistry in one place!! Even the ads for other Warren publications and monster memorabilia are a delight to see!

This copy is in great shape, with a solid binding and no tears, creases or pieces missing. There are faint stress lines on the front cover and mild toning of the 53-year old newsprint pages, but nothing that affects the great artwork! We very conservatively grade this at 7.0 FN/VF. As such, Overstreet lists a value of $28 . . . but we're offering it at $18 . . with our always-L•O•W shipping . . and FREE shipping when you combine additional purchases!
