So, what is a NM++? Well ...
NEVER read! Bought bagged & boarded from Local Comic Shop. If we were to follow guidelines from the most current Overstreet Guide to Grading Comics, we COULD grade this as NM/MT (9.8)! However, the doubt we have regarding CGC rating keeps us from giving this an NM/MT. So, we at Fat Mouse give this OUR grade of NM++ (9.7)! This item is nearly perfect. There may be none or subtle bindery or printing defects. No bindery tears. The surface is flat with no surface wear. Inks are bright with high reflectivity and minimal fading. The cover is well centered and firmly secured to the interior pages. A corner may be minutely blunted, but still almost cut square and sharp. There may be none, or almost imperceptible indentations. No creases, bends, or color breaks. There are no pencil, stamped, or inked arrival dates. No soiling, staining or other discoloration. The spine is tight and flat with no spine roll or splits. The staples are original, generally centered, with only the slightest discoloration. No staple tears, stress lines or rust migration. Paper is white, supple, and fresh. No hint of acidity in the odor of the newsprint. No interior autographs or owner signatures. Centerfold is firmly secured. No interior tears.
