Item Description

Captain Marvel Adventures (1941) #81 VG-, Mr Atom and the Comet Men. Professionally graded. Pages are off-white with light tanning at the edges, supple and in excellent condition (however, the center pages have a piece missing from the outer edge&mdashwith minimal effect to the panels, and two closed tears at the outer edge as well as some discoloration along the outer edge), center page detached. Spine wear, ~1/4 inch chip at top of spine, ~1 inch split at bottom of spine, minor wear along top and right edges, bottom edge has creasing, finger bends and three closed tears, note position of staples ~1/2 inch in from edge (which appears to be how it was originally made). Back cover: minor edge wear, light discoloration and staining, piece missing from bottom right corner at the spine, other general wear consistent with the grade (see scans).
