While this issue may not be rare it is certainly UNCOMMON! This is the ONLY Captain Marvel Pre Code Horror story!(Titled the HIDEOUS Head Hunter) And it is definitely a Pre Code Horror story featuring a hunter in the Korean War who kills and collects severed human heads! They are collected in a bag and thrown at Captain Marvel!! Somehow this is all connected to the Korean War("Commies","Reds" are words used throughout) with a big game hunter, hunting humans, who enjoys decapitating's them. What a switch from the typical Captain Marvel early 1950s stories!! This issue being near the end of the run is somewhat harder to find and with it being a pre code horror story recently realized will add a premium to its value.

This issue is complete with OFF WHITE supple pages,a basically intact spine with NO SPLITS,and moderate wear,and obvious creases at the bottom right of the front cover.The book is complete and there are no surprises(No tape,NO writing in the interior,No panels cut out)
