Jack Kirby both writes and draws this action-packed, 52-page, extravaganza of CAP dealing with the all-new BROTHERHOOD OF EVIL MUTANTS!

In this CAPTAIN AMERICA ANNUAL #4, which contains all new material (unlike the earlier Marvel Annuals that reprinted the better stories of a year), Kirby delivers "The Great Mutant Massacre", with MAGNETO front and center!

Responding to a newspaper ad about mutants, CAPTAIN AMERICA riefly tussles with MAGNETO who is also answering the ad. They're interrupted by Joe Keegan, who tells them that he found a pair of mutants and needs someone with scientific knowledge to care for them. He opens the face of his wristwatch, revealing a tiny man, MR. ONE, inside. MAGNETO levitates the watch away from Joe, only to have his helmet crushed by MR. TWO, another much larger mutant, who then tosses MAGNETO through the wall!

Later, STEVE ROGERS checks on the mutants at a local S.H.I.E.L.D. medical facility. It seems that MR. ONE ontrols MR. TWO, and STEVE has to remind the S.H.I.E.L.D. doctor that the two are more than just test subjects. Meanwhile, Magneto inspects a miniature spaceship and convinces his new BROTHERHOOD OF EVIL to abduct MR. ONE and MR. TWO. Things go horribly wrong for MR.TWO, and MR.ONE is forced to climb into his spaceship and set it to self-destruct. Realizing his cause is lost, MAGNETO escapes before his base is destroyed.

Crazy-good Kirby storytelling and dynamic artwork! Plus- a back cover ad by the great Jack Davis!

This is a near-pristine copy of CAPTAIN AMERICA ANNUAL #4 and certainly doesn't show its age of 44! There are no ragged edges, the binding is strong and square, there is only minimal toning and the covers still have a bit of gloss. All these factors contribute to a conservative grading of 8.0 VF, for which Overstreet suggests a price of $18. Our price? - Just $13 . . with our always-L•O•W shipping of only $2!
