It took Marvel over 4 years after the publication of CAPTAIN AMERICA ANNUAL #2 to get around to putting out CAPTAIN AMERICA ANNUAL #3! Not sure what happened to CAP from 1972 to 1976 (other than Jack Kirby decamping to DC !) . . but here he is, back in a typically Kirbyesque opus of heightened action and emotion!

In "The Thing From the Black Hole Star!", Jack Kirby plays a one-man publishing company, writing, illustrating and editing this 35-page story in which CAP gets caught in the middle of an intergalactic feud! Kirby really packs the story full of imaginative twists and turns . . and vibrant art!

This 52-page copy of CAPTAIN AMERICA ANNUAL 3 is in great shape, with a glossy cover, a strong binding, only lightly toned pages, and no tears, splits, or pieces missing. The front cover has a bent lower corner - really the only noticeable flaw we see! We're conservatively grading it an 7.5 VF- . . . which Overstreet values at $14.
