* The time has come for me to start selling my treasured High Grade Captain America collection. As a long life long collector of high grade comic books I completed this Captain America Run, Yes ALL 454 issues. It took me a little over 10 years to complete the entire run in the higher grades I was looking for. Some were cracked out from CGC / CBCS slabs. I currently do have a CBCS 8.5 Captain America #100 Listed on Hip. I will be listing the books as time allows.

Earth's Mightiest Heroes arrive in Washington D.C. to rescue the President of the United States! An unidentified terrorist group has seized the president and is currently holding him captive at the Jefferson Memorial! The abductors demand to see Captain America, but the Avengers don't know where he is! So the Black Widow prepares her team to liberate the president without him! However before the Avengers strike, they take a moment to reflect upon the many things Cap taught them through the years. Avengers Assemble! Cameo appearances by Captain America, Sharon Carter, and the Red Skull. Avengers Lineup: Black Widow, Crystal, Deathcry, Giant-Man, Hercules, and Quicksilver. (Notes: This story features Hercules' famous quote about the star-spangled avenger: "On Olympus we measure wisdom against Athena, speed against Hermes, and power against Zeus; but we measure courage against Captain America." This issue was published with an Overpower game card inside. The issue may or may not contain the card now. This issue also begins Mark Waid (writer) and Ron Garney's (penciler) 1-year collaboration on the Captain America title.) 32 pages.

Up for your review and consideration comes this super tough Captain America book. In addition to the already condition sensitive Black Cover, the book was issued with over power Promo cards inside (still intact), the cards in the spine more often than not also caused an impression on the front and back cover. The copy I have here is free of any card impressions and is in great condition. The book exhibits Like New NM qualities with VERY minimal to no wear on this tough black cover. With original cover color and a perfect cover wrap the book has outstanding eye appeal. The interior complete with flawless white pages and clean tight staples. Good Luck finding a nicer copy of the popular Captain America Book.
