The action begins at the Federal Courthouse in Lower Manhattan as Captain America interrupts a group of costumed thieves trying to steal the SHIELD master matrix used for creating Life Model Decoys. After the villains load the master matrix on a helicopter, Cap follows in hot pursuit! The trail leads to the Cameron Electronics Plant and a twisted dying old man named Adonis. (Note: This issue includes a sideways full page ad featuring Batroc the Leaper promoting Crazy Magazine.)
