We own every book listed and the product images are of the actual comic you are buying. We usually only host the front of comics to ensure there is minimal impact on the performance of our website where the images are hosted. We can fulfill additional images upon request; we usually respond to requests for additional images or within hours but certainly will get it done within a day.

Offers:

We don't accept offers through Hip. This being said if you see a book you really want we may be able to negotiate. The vast majority of books don't have any room for negotiation but it doesn't hurt to ask. Simply send us an offer via email and if it is reasonable we will send you a response. If it is unreasonable we generally won't respond; we're just too busy. To save you some time and keystrokes don't add as part of your offer what you think the comic is worth; we conduct our own research and price according to our own research.

Condition:

Raw Comics - Due to variance in grading practices, comics will only be guaranteed to be in the grade specified within + or - one-half grade. For example, a comic listed as VF (8.0) is guaranteed to be in a condition of 7.5 - 8.5.

Graded Comics - Graded comics will arrive in the condition specified in the listing.

Product Returns:

In addition to packing supplies and postage, we incur costs associated with receiving and inspecting returned products for defects or damage as well as holding, inventorying, storing, and republishing for future sales. We charge a nominal 20% restocking fee to defray these costs. Restocking fees do not apply on not accurately described, incorrect, or missing items.

Combined Shipping: I gladly combine shipping. Please do not pay for your order until you get a combined invoice which you may have to request. I will combine purchases within 5 days of each purchase. Add $0.50 ($1.00 for graded comics) for each additional comic. Slabbed or graded comics are not eligible to be combined with non-graded comics; they cost considerably more to ship.
