Origin of Captain America retold, as originally depicted in Avengers #4, in "This Monster Unmasked!", script by Stan Lee, pencils by Jack Kirby, inks by Syd Shores; Baron Zemo orders Agent 13, who is posing as female spy Irma Kruhl, to execute Captain America and Black Panther; Zemo plans to use a solar ray to destroy America; Agent 13, Captain America and Black Pather battle Zemos robot, Destructon. Brief Nick Fury appearance. Cameos by the Avengers and the Sub-Mariner. 36 pgs., full color. $0.12. Cover price $0.12.

  The time has come for me to start selling my treasured High Grade Captain America collection. As a long life long collector of high grade comic books I completed this Captain America Run, Yes ALL 454 issues. It took me a little over 10 years to complete the entire run in the higher grades I was looking for. Some were cracked out from CGC / CBCS slabs. I currently do have a CBCS 8.5 Captain America Listed. I will be listing the books in numerical order as time allow 

  Up for your consideration and viewing pleasure come this beautiful copy of Captain America #101. This book still retains Like New Cover Color and Gloss with VERY minimal to no surface wear. The book lays flat with clean tight staples and no spine roll. The spine has a few micro ticks and one tiny stress by the top staple with the back having one small spot of wear right in the middle. The book has a perfect cover wrap giving it outstanding eye appeal.
The Book has nice clean edges and corners with very minimal wear, mainly just a hint of wear on the lower spine side corner.
The Interior is complete with no cut outs, writing, stains, Foxing etc... I conservatively say the pages are and Off White/White although Ive seen lesser books claiming White Page quality.
A super clean Silver Age Cap book with NO: Creases, Writing, Stains.
I believe the book is at least an 9.0 VFN/NM with most any grading company, Maybe even a 9.2 on any given day. Ive certainly seen lesser books in NM slabs.

* The book has been stored in E.Gerber Mylar with acid free board and Micro chamber paper for the last 15 Years

  A word about Grading that any seasoned collector knows is very subjective. I try to stay on the conservative side with grading these Silver Age books. My grading is based on ONE THING, Can the book reasonably pull the said grade from CGC or CBCS. I have submitted countless books to both CGC & CBCS as well as having cracked out many books from slabs for my personal collection over the years. All the books I will be listing are Original unaltered books. None have ever been pressed or altered in any way.
