Very Good - The average used comic book. A comic in this grade shows wear, can have a reading or center crease and/or a rolled spine, but has not accumulated enough total defects to reduce eye appeal to the point that it is not a desirable copy. Discoloration, fading and even minor soiling is allowed. As much as a 1/4 inch triangle can be missing out of the corner or edge. A missing square piece, 1/4 inch by 1/4 inch, is also acceptable. Store stamps, name stamps, arrival dates, initials, etc. have no effect on this grade. Cover and interior pages can have one or two minor tears and folds and the centerfold may be loose or detached. One staple can be loose, but the cover is not completely detached. Common bindery and printing defects do not affect grade. Pages and inside covers may be brown but not brittle. Tape should never be used for comic book repair, however may Very Good condition comics have minor tape repair.

“Last Gleaming” part three is written by Joss Whedon and Scott Allie and drawn by Georges Jeanty and Andy Owens. The relationship between Buffy and Angel has never been an easy or tranquil one. It has been full of explosive emotions both good and bad and in the fray, many of Buffy’s friends have been hurt or worse. Now as the ultimate act of destructive love, because of their supernatural union a new universe has been born; one that has no room for magic and must destroy our own before it can truly come to be. Angel has been recruited to be its agent and disguised as the villain Twilight, he was sent to the past to ensure events occurred as they have to lead to this moment.

Key to Angel’s plan is the destruction of an object called the Seed of Evil, a sort of supernatural plug located in the Sunnydale Hellmouth that once removed will allow the new universe to bloom. Opposing him are Buffy, Spike, the Slayers and a new ally who was our heroine’s oldest enemy, the Master. As the bat-faced vampire-lord explains the Seed’s origins to the Scooby Gang, Slayers and the U.S. military fight a seemingly unending horde of demons above ground that is seeking to control the Seed. With the war going badly, Dawn is hurt and Xander takes her to a hospital tent for treatment. There, he gets an interesting proposition from the U.S. military commander. And Buffy must also make a choice: get on board with protecting the source of all evil or get out of the way of Angel and watch her world come apart!
