THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD began publication in August-September of 1955. Originally an adventure series featuring several non-related vignettes per issue, the title eventually evolved into a team-up book, with BATMAN sharing the spotlight feature throughout most of its run.

Here in issue #82 from February of 1969, inside the cover by Neal Adams, is the story "The Sleepwalker From The Sea!" written by Bob Haney and illustrated by the great Neal Adams. Dazed, confused, and guilt-ridden, AQUAMAN has become a tool of OCEAN MASTER (who recounts his origin) in the villain's plot to embezzle from, loot, and then destroy a Gotham seaside development project. But BATMAN has something to say about that!

This 55-year-old copy of THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD #81 is in 5.0 VG/FN condition - it 's been handled with care over its life span. The spine is strong, but has multiple tiny stress lines. There is a tiny 3/8" split on the back cover, a small chip out of the front cover, but no rough page edges. There is a tiny odd rubber stamp on the back cover . . but nothing mars the great Neal Adams art inside.
