Synopsis:
A true product of the 80's, Blue Devil was the tragic and humorous story of stuntman Dan Cassidy. While shooting a movie in the Blue Devil costume, he is trapped in it by mystic energy. He reluctantly becomes a superhero, fighting against Bolt, Shockwave, and Nebiros. Zatanna and Trickster are supporting characters in the series. It's an enjoyable read. Blue Devil returned in the Showcase reboot in the 90's, was transformed into a true demon in Underworld Unleashed, briefly served in Justice League America, and finally found a home in the mystic super-team Shadowpact.
