In 1988, DC Comics decided to dip into their archives and re-present the best Batman Team-ups and other stories from the then 33-year history of THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD. What they came up with was this 6-issue Miniseries, spanning 312 pages and representing more than 18 classic stories!

The first issue features the 22-page story "The Senator's Been Shot!" by Bob Haney and Neal Adams that appeared in B&B #85 in 1969 and pairs BATMAN with GREEN ARROW. The new flexographic printing really makes Adams' amazing artistry pop off the page! Also in this big 52-page issue are a VIKING PRINCE story from 1955 by Joe Kubert, a GOLDEN GLADIATOR story from the very first issue of THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD by Russ Heath, and another story illustrated by Heath featuring THE SILENT KNIGHT from B&B #5 in 1956.

In issue #2, you get "But Bork Can Hurt You!" , teams BATMAN and the FLASH, along with three more stories starring THE VIKING PRINCE and ROBIN HOOD.

Issue #3 leads off with "A Little Bit of Luck and a Lot of Talent" as BATMAN battles alongside AQUAMAN. The back-up stories star VIKING PRINCE, THE GOLDEN GLADIATOR, and ROBIN HOOD.

THE CREEPER is BATMAN's partner in "And His Name Is Hellgrammite!" in issue #4, once again by Haney and Adams, backed up by - once again - VIKING PRINCE, THE GOLDEN GLADIATOR, and ROBIN HOOD.

Issue #5 features the unlikely pairing of BATMAN and HOUSE OF MYSTERY in the Joe Kubert-illustrated "Red Water Crimson Death!" . It is followed up by three more tales starring the trio of VIKING PRINCE, THE GOLDEN GLADIATOR, and ROBIN HOOD.

And in #6 you get "Punish Not My Evil Son" , with BATMMAN and THE TEEN TITANS of 1969, along with more adventures of The VIKING PRINCE and ROBIN HOOD!

Throughout these six issues are a veritable library of reference works, histories, checklists, opinions, commentary and insights from Neal Adams, Dick Giordano, Bob Haney, Julius Schwartz, Mark Waid and other DC luminaries. You also get a sharp representation of each of Neal Adams' great original cover art from each of these six BATMAN stories!
