It's a complex story, weaving adventure in twists and turns against a backdrop of terrorism, high espionage, familial revenge and unfamiliar love and longing for BRUCE WAYNE.The story unfolds when a terrorist and his allies take control of a US satellite that can control the weather and targeting the desert stronghold of RA'S AL GHUL . . . and BATMAN teams up with RA'S to take the terrorists down, the leader of which killed RA'S wife and the mother of TALIA!!.

During the operation, BATMAN and TALIA are married and conceive a child in love.TALIA later tells BATMAN that she miscarried during all of the excitement . .but we eventually discover that she did not!

This signed and numbered hardback edition - with a full color dust jacket - includes the signatures of Mike W. Barr and Jerry Bingham that I obtained at their appearance at a local comic book store,and is numbered as book#1657 in an edition of 1700!

Mark Hamill contributes a great 4-page 'Introduction',synopsizing BATMAN's history along with his personal attachment to the character, accompanied by Jerry Bingham pencil sketches.
