Original D.C. Production Art Batman: Shadow Of The Bat #22 Issue: / Year: 1993 Condition: VGKnight Guest-The Search for Bruce Wayne, Part 2, Dec. 1993. Story by Alana Grant, art by Bret Blevins. This lot contains 22 pages of hand colored D.C. production art. Each page was hand colored and signed by Adrienne Roy, D.C. color artist. Intense story full of fabulous airbrush art. This is the least expensive way to own a piece of art that was used to make a comic book. Color guides are a comic book page size photocopy of the original black and white art. The colorist then adds the colors to the panels and indicates various shading codes so the printer will know exactly how to apply the colors. Each page is an original, one of a kind, piece of hand done art. For decades the publishers and printers would throw any production art in the trash can after it had served its purpose. Today original production art is highly sought after and very desirable. Now you can own a piece of D.C. Comics history. You cannot find a better art bargain.
