In this first 6-issue story arc, BATMAN gathers his new team of OUTSIDERS to investigate Jardine Enterprises, which is building new OMACs. BATMAN's dual loyalties are tested as the OUTSIDERS and the JUSTICE LEAGUE CLASH over an OMAC the OUTSIDERS have captured. The action even even moves up to the International Space Station, and over to China!

Over these six issues, the roster changes a bit, with the addition of, among others, MAN-BAT's wife, Francine, GEO-FORCE, ELONGATED MAN and his wife, and even GREEN ARROW!
