This convention special has been re-sold by people on line at really high prices. It has been called by many names. Some consider this "The Captain's Jolting Tales" #4-A. Others have called it "Jolting Tales" #5.
This was originally going into "Jolting Tales #4-B as the forth (and last) issue was printed as #4-A. There is no Hammer adventure in that issue as it was getting too big, we were going to split the issue. That did not work so the story was given it's own book.
Story Included:
Get Me to the Church on Time
Arlington Hammer sure knows how to make his own enemy's. Silly biker should have known it was a bad thing to turn a Cop! Hammer wakes up to a brand new night to fight, when he is confronted by nasty New York street punks. They hardly slow him down, and then he's off to Hammer Arms to figure out his next move. When he gets to his crib, he knows something is not right. He locked his door when he left, and now... it's open.
His beautiful guest is not a problem. All those Cops from the Night Patrol are.
The one Cop Hammer fed on when he was turned just went back to work, then started feeding on his fellow officers. Knowing Hammer kills vampires, they see him as a threat and a murderer!
